BLACK HEREFORD FOUNDATION (BHF)
The BHF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that plays an important role in funding education, youth development, and research for members of the American Black Hereford Association (ABHA).
EDUCATION
Education of ABHA members is critical for breed improvements and improvements in the beef industry.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
The BHF helps to support Black Hereford youth through scholarships as well as funding of
youth programs to help build the breed’s leaders of tomorrow.
RESEARCH
Continued research will help to further and sustain the Black Hereford breed well into
the future.

The Black Hereford Foundation Board of Directors shall be composed of nine members, consisting of three individuals elected by the ABHA membership, two members of the current ABHA Board of Directors, and four industry professionals appointed by the ABHA Board of Directors.
